Rember 911

I was surprised, when I talk to my kids and they tell me that 9-11 is never brought up or discussed in school. It’s up to us as parents to teach our kids about what happened that day. That day, will always be raw in my life. I can almost remember every detail of that day, to the smell of coffee, to what I was wearing. I will never get that image out of my mind as corporate women jumped to their deaths, because they didn’t want to burn to death. As an American I have a hard time understanding how we ever came to the conclusion that Islam was nice. I remember when I was younger and the gas wars we had, and how the oil companies wanted oil from the Middle East. We should have never went there. This was the cost for opening that door that should’ve been sealed shut.
