Trump Foundation for its generous contribution in connection with businessman Donald Trump’s January 28, 2016 rally for America’s veterans. The Green Beret Foundation was pleased to hear of its selection as one of the 22 military organizations that will be receiving a donation from the more than $6 million dollars raised during the event. Its members are grateful and appreciative of the efforts of the Donald J. Trump Foundation and its supporters, which will go towards providing direct and continuous support to the Green Beret community and its families.
“We urge all Americans to support America’s Green Berets and their families,” said Green Beret Foundation Chairman of the Board retired Major General David A. Morris.
America’s Special Forces Operators, thousands of whom are serving honorably across over 145 countries including hostile war zones, continue to play an extremely critical role in keeping America and her global interests safe and secure. Some, like the late Staff Sgt. Matthew Q. McClintock, a member of the Alpha Company of 1st Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne) who died on January 5, 2016 during an operation in Afghanistan, continue to pay the ultimate price.
