Mommy, where’s daddy?
Sonny, stop crying daddy has a new home.
Does that mean he’s not coming home?
But mommy, he said that he would teach me how to catch a ball.
And now who’s going to pick me up when I fall?
Mommy, I want my daddy!
He promised that he would make it back home.
Now, I have to come here to this big rock to visit daddy’s new home.
But what happens if I can’t find his new home.
Will Daddy still hear me, when I call, daddy?
Mommy, I don’t like daddy’s new home.
I can’t reach out and touch my daddy.
I can’t hear daddy!
Mommy, why did daddy move to this cold new home?
Sonny, daddy came here, so you could stand there.
There are bad people in the world that want to hurt us all.
Daddy died to protect us all.
So remember when you fall; it was daddy who picked you up before you even felt the fall.
He did it for us all!
Daddy’s still with us all.
He still lives in our hearts.
He still occupies a big portion there that will never go away!
And one day, you’ll see daddy.
You’ll see him in Heaven.
And all the things you missed out on, here on earth.
You will get to do in Heaven
And spend time with your daddy.
Until then, we come here to visit your daddy.
Sonny, don’t cry, this is daddy’s new home!
